Ammophila sp. Ammophila sp. - This is the same wasp as in the above photo, carrying a paralyzed caterpillar to the wasp's burrow so that its young can feed on it after they develop into larvae.

Ammophila sp. Ammophila sp. - This is the same wasp kicking dirt into the burrow to seal it and protect it from intruders after burying the caterpillar. Later, after the wasp larva inside matures, it will emerge as an adult thread-waisted wasp.
